Hi Grant, the Bluetooth App is handy when you’re filming or on a shoot. Although the EB70 is quite a small capacity the ability to check the remaining capacity is handy so that the lights don’t cut halfway through a scene. In these tests I’m essentially using the electric generators in place of other power sources, my main go-to is the Bluetti AC200 which provides enough power for a small-scale shoot. The Bluetooth connection just helps when monitoring the stats on set as the batteries are often in a location that isn’t always that accessible once everything is set up. Likewise, the addition of app connectivity to lights etc is also a bonus, not 100% necessary but definitely handy.
